Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the refund and cancellation procedures applicable to consulting, advisory, brokerage, and related service fees charged by ATS Insurance Consultants, LLC (“ATS Insurance Consultants,” “ATS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Service Fees

Where applicable, ATS Insurance Consultants may charge a service, consulting, advisory, brokerage, or policy service fee.

The applicable fee and service will be disclosed to the client before payment.

Insurance premiums are separate from ATS Insurance Consultants’ service fees unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Refunds

Because our services may involve time spent reviewing information, researching insurance options, preparing submissions, communicating with carriers or brokers, and providing consulting or advisory services, eligibility for a refund may depend on whether the requested services have already been performed.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Fees for services that have not yet been started may be eligible for a refund;
• Fees for services that have already been substantially performed may be non-refundable;
• Any applicable refund will be evaluated based on the specific service purchased and work already performed; and
• Insurance premiums paid to an insurance carrier are subject to the carrier’s own cancellation and refund rules and are not controlled by ATS Insurance Consultants.

3. Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests should include the client’s name, contact information, and a description of the service being cancelled.

Cancellation of ATS Insurance Consultants’ service does not automatically cancel an insurance policy.

If you wish to cancel an insurance policy, you must follow the applicable carrier’s cancellation procedures and any requirements imposed by applicable law.

4. Insurance Policy Cancellation

ATS Insurance Consultants does not determine the cancellation terms of insurance policies issued by third-party insurance carriers.

Any return premium, earned premium, minimum earned premium, cancellation fee, short-rate calculation, or other policy adjustment is determined according to the applicable insurance policy and carrier rules.

5. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction, unless otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor and financial institution.

6. Disputes

Before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback, we encourage clients to contact us so that we can review the concern and attempt to resolve it.

This does not limit any rights a customer may have under applicable law or card-network rules.
